Kia ora and welcome to Tasty Temptations!
We thought it was time to introduce ourselves and share a little bit about the family behind the business.
We are the Oppelt family, originally from South Africa and proud to now call New Zealand home. Food has always been a big part of our lives, bringing family and friends together around the table and creating lasting memories.
Tasty Temptations started with a dream of sharing authentic South African flavours with our local community while also creating a warm and welcoming place for people to enjoy great coffee, delicious food, and friendly conversation.
What began as a small idea has grown into a family-run business that we are incredibly proud of. From slicing biltong and preparing meals to serving customers and attending local events, every part of Tasty Temptations is built with passion and hard work.
One of our favourite things is seeing customers discover South African food for the first time. Whether it's biltong, droëwors, bobotie, or one of our homemade treats, we love sharing a little piece of our heritage with New Zealand.
Like many small businesses, our journey has had its challenges, but it has also been filled with wonderful customers, new friendships, and incredible support from the community. Every coffee purchased, every online order placed, and every kind word shared means the world to us.
As we continue our journey and prepare for exciting new opportunities, we want to thank everyone who has supported Tasty Temptations along the way.
